We are delighted to announce that the Institut Pasteur de Dakar (IPD) is now officially an associate member of the International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI). This membership marks a significant milestone in our commitment to strengthening public health capacities and competencies globally.

IANPHI works collectively to develop and strengthen national public health institutes worldwide, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

As such, representated by its Director of Public Health, Dr Abdourahmane SOW IPD is honored to participate in the 2025 IANPHI Annual Meeting, held on April 9-10, 2025, in Maputo, Mozambique. On the sidelines of this meeting, IPD was officially designated as a member of this prestigious platform.

The theme of the 2025 Annual Meeting is: “The Role of Public Health Institutes in Promoting Healthy, Equitable, and Resilient Societies to Address Current and Future Threats.” This theme resonates particularly with our mission to accelerate equitable, sustainable, and affordable access to healthcare in Senegal, Africa, and worldwide.
