Élèves de l'École Internationale de Dakar découvrant les laboratoires du LSAHE au Centre CARE de l'IPD, 22 avril 2026

On Wednesday, 22 April 2026, Institut Pasteur de Dakar, through its Food Safety and Environmental Hygiene Laboratory (LSAHE), welcomed 48 students from the International School of Dakar (ISD) to the African Centre for Epidemic Resilience (CARE).

A Regionally Accredited Reference Laboratory

The LSAHE is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by SOAC and participates in inter-laboratory proficiency testing. Its activities cover water quality, food safety, and environmental surveillance.

A Scientific Immersion for Students

Guided by LSAHE experts, students engaged with research teams, learned about laboratory analysis methods, and explored IPD’s essential role in preventing health risks related to food and the environment.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Scientists

By opening its doors to students, IPD helps build tomorrow’s scientific culture and inspires vocations among African and international youth.
