We are marking Pink October with a series of free cervical cancer screenings. Free screening vouchers will be handed out at the Touba health district and at Lisca in Dakar. These vouchers will be valid until December 2024.
Thanks to our high-performance biomedical analysis laboratories and our innovative projects, such as Project Cerco-WA, we are actively committed to the health of women and girls.
Cerco-WA is one of the first national studies to cover all regions of Senegal, with a focus on raising awareness and training on HPV carriage and early detection of pre-cancerous lesions.
Our actions to combat cancer in women and girls in Senegal include:
🌸 Sensitised and trained healthcare workers on the importance of screening for pre-cancerous lesions.
🌸 Followed up women and girls with lesions.
🌸 Conducted research and innovation activities on women’s cancers.
