In a firm commitment to the development of human capital, Institut Pasteur de Dakar recently organized a training on the use of the REDCap data management software, in partnership with Institut Pasteur, whom we sincerely thank for deploying two trainers to support the strengthening of skills around this software that contributes to improving efficiency, security, and collaboration in research and public health, for a positive impact on patient care and health promotion.
The training session, which took place from April 15 to 19 at CARE, brought together about twenty Pasteurians from various departments. Participants were immersed in various aspects of REDCap, ranging from understanding classic and longitudinal projects to putting into practice good approaches for maintaining and updating REDCap projects.
This training provided a unique opportunity for participants to consolidate their skills and immediately apply their knowledge in their ongoing projects, thereby enhancing their ability to support the African population through a more effective and specialized approach.
