The Institut Pasteur de Dakar is supporting the Touba health district in the vast awareness campaign against female cancers in Senegal.
Yesterday, we handed over fifty free cervical screening vouchers to Dr Ndeye Maguette DIOP, District Medical Officer. Also present were Mrs Mbacké Thioro, midwife and coordinator of the ‘Pink October’ activity, and Mr Mor LO, representative of the Touba Mosquée municipality.
Dr Babacar NDIAYE, Coordinator of the ‘Touba Institut Pasteur’ medical biology and public health laboratory. accompanied by Mouhamadou Moustapha DIOUF, Quality Assistant, symbolically handed over the envelope of vouchers.
This initiative was warmly welcomed by the many women who came from Touba and the surrounding area to take part in the screening session.
Together, let’s continue to promote women’s health in Touba!
