DIA𝑇𝑅𝑂𝑃𝐼𝑋’s second site in Mbao is now operational, with production capacity increasing from 5 million to 75 million rapid diagnostic tests per year. This major milestone supports the Institut Pasteur de Dakar’s mission and Senegal’s ambition to address Africa’s healthcare challenges.
The inauguration on December 12, 2024, by the Minister of Health and Social Action of Senegal, Dr Ibrahima SY, the Minister of Health of Cape Verde, Dr. Filomena Gonçalves, and other distinguished guests, marks a key milestone in the fight against neglected tropical diseases and epidemics.
